Azad asks Govt to reach out in quake-hit areas

JAMMU, Oct 26: Former J&K Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad has urged upon the Central and State Governments to gear up the administrative machinery for reaching out to the panic-struck people in the earth-quake affected areas.
In a press statement issued here today, Mr Azad expressed concern and anxiety over the massive earthquake that struck large parts of Northern India including J&K State this afternoon.. While praying for the safety and well being of all the citizens of the country in this tough-hour, Mr Azad called upon the people to maintain calm stating that natural calamities can be overcome with the fortitude and patience only.
