MEERUT (UP), Mar 11:
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that Ayurveda has great importance in the life of the people and is an important component in human healthcare.
Speaking at the three-day All India Ayurvedic Maha Sammelan being held at Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Yogi said a new history of Ayurveda will be written in Meerut.
He said that Meerut is the land of India’s history and it is the land of Mahabharata. “Hastinapur laid the foundation of Mahabharata and it is related to Dharma, Karma, and Moksha,” he said.
The CM said that Meerut is the land of revolution. “It is the land of the hard work of the farmers who are the providers of food,” he said.
He said that the traditional medical system has made a significant leap in the world within nine years, and the credit for this goes to the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “It was he, who for the first time, created a Ministry of AYUSH by including Yoga and Ayurveda,” he said. Yogi said that so many Ayurveda specialists are present on one platform today and this is a great fortune.
He praised CCS University, mentioning how the university has made a name for itself worldwide by getting an A+ grade in NAAC. He urged the Ayurveda University to work hard and achieve similar success. (UNI)
