JAMMU, June 18: In an endeavour to increase communication and spread awareness amongst the `Veer Naris’ and to enable them to avail maximum advantages of various Government Schemes, Indian Army organised an interaction with `Veer Naris’ at Dharmund, in district Ramban today.
Sunita Dwivedi, Regional president AWWA Northern Command, interacted with all the Veer Naris present on the occasion, listened to their concerns, assured of all possible help and later felicitated them.
The programme was aimed to interact with the `Veer Naris’ in the region and address their grievances. The interaction provided a platform wherein their concerns could be heard and corrective measures be initiated with relevant authorities.
The `Veer Naris’ expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Indian Army and spoke highly of the efforts for honouring them.
Pertinent to mention here that Indian Army has always remained committed to the welfare and well-being of its `Veer Naris’ and war veterans.
