This has reference to the news item ‘BJP to hold Jan Sampark Abhiyan on CAA from Jan 1’ DE Jan 1.
The Government of India must launch a nation wide awareness programme on Citizenship Amendmant Act (CAA), though Bhartiya Janta Party has planned one on its own, to clear misgiving on this vital subject among the countrymen.
This is an issue of national importance, and can’t be dismissed as an issue which may die a slow death. Barring a small section of society, almost everybody in India describes it an historic amendment with wider ramifications. The Government must leave no stone unturned to remove misgivings about CAA to the satisfaction of every citizen. Otherwise, it has been seen that vested interests can use it to further their own agenda.
All political parties are urged not to play politics on issues that are of national importance. Political parties may come and go but nation is always there in need of people who may protect it from external and internal threats.
