JAMMU, May 30: All India Hindu Personal Law Board (AIHPLB), Jammu Chapter today asked all the political parties to aware the masses about Article-370.
Addressing a press conference, State president of All India Hindu Personal Law Board (AIHPLB), Sanjeev Trehan said that the people are unaware about Article-370 and political parties should come forward and aware them about the merits and de-merits of the article.
He added that the board will work over various issues prevailing in the society including dowry harassment issues, child marriage, female foeticide, etc.
He further stated that the board will also aware the youth about the ill-effects of drugs by organizing various awareness programmes.
Trehan disclosed that people and Government are unaware about various temples and shrines and they will conduct an awareness drive for them.
He urged the Union Government to settle the issue of Kashmiri Pandits regarding their hometown.
“The board will open schools and ashrams for the children of militancy and violence affected families”, he added.
Among others present were Ravinder Bali, general secretary and Vijay Sharma, secretary.
