DODA, Sept 16: District Administration Doda today restored 2G mobile internet services across the region.
The internet services were snapped a few days back in the wake of protests triggered by the arrest of a Legislator from the area as he was facing several cases and 18 FIRs were registered on his name in different Police Stations.
The internet restoration has brought a great relief to the residents as they were facing immense difficulties due to the prolonged disruption of mobile services.
However, the Police authorities have warned social media users to avoid posts posing threat to the peace in the region.
The restoration of 2G services has been widely welcomed by the people of Doda and they have expressed gratitude towards the district administration for its continuous efforts in addressing their concerns. Students, government employees, traders and the general public have resumed their routine activities with ease, as connectivity has been partially restored.
DC Doda Harvinder Singh has assured administration’s commitment to ensure uninterrupted communication facilities for all sections of the society.
