‘August Moon Food Festival’ at Cygnett Park Asia from today

JAMMU, Aug 23: Cygnett Park Asia is organizing “August Moon Food Festival” at “Yangtse” Oriental and Chinese Restaurant from tomorrow onwards.
The “August Moon” is a mid-autumn harvest festival celebrated notably by ethnic Chinese and Vietnamese people but due to ancient China’s cultural influence, the mid-autumn festival has spread to other parts of Southeast Asia.
As per Naresh Dabral, Executive Chef of Cygnett Park Asia, “We are celebrating ‘August Moon’ through culinary journey of oriental cuisine that includes the delicacy of China, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesian and other identical Oriental dishes for this occasion, some of the signature dishes includes dim sums like har hun gok, chicken sumai, wrap and rolls like August moon crepe, klu gong, Vietnami rolls, salad like Som tam (raw papaya salad), larb kai (spicy chicken salad), Tod man pla (Thai fish cake), Thai corn cake, Korean crispy chicken wings, Konjee crispy lamb, general Tsao chicken, Burmese Khow suey with vegetarian and non vegetarian options, Thai Penang curry, sour fish southern Thai style, Pad Thai noodle, Vietnam hot pot fish, Indonesian Nasi Goreng and Chinese Moon cake and chocolate dim.
“We will be serving fortune cookies at the end of meal which is very popular in Oriental Cuisine”, he informed.
“Our Chefs will be delighted to prepare each mouth-watering dishes especially to our patrons”, Dabral informed.
Amit Kumar Sood, General Manager of Cygnett Park Asia apprised that they have been organizing various food festivals every year and they are having a good response from the elite of Jammu.
