JAMMU : The Marshals along with the watch and ward staff of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly today went on strike alleging that the Assembly Secretary Mohammed Ramzan used abusive language against them.
The protesting Marshals alleged that the Assembly Secretary misbehaved with them and used abusive language. The staff however, went on strike and suspended their work.
They also submitted a written complaint to Speaker Kavinder Gupta, following which the Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Syed Basharat Bukhari assured the staff that such things will not be repeated and the matter will be looked into.
The Marshals later resumed their duties. (AGENCIES)
