JAMMU, Jan 13: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (AJKPC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president HL Chatta.
While speaking, HL Chatta expressed concern over the statement of the responsible persons from the ruling party, who had advocated the idea of autonomy and talked of some sort of deception, which has eroded the faith in the democracy in India.
“Our community has been uprooted and scattered, but we want to live in our homeland with free flow of the Indian constitution”, he said.
Chatta asked the Central and the State Government to take the matter seriously with regard to their rehabilitation and carve out the homeland to end their woes.
Among others present were RK Raina, senior vice president, SK Bhat, BL Handoo, Subash Chatta, ML Kashkari, Ravi Raina, etc.
