JAMMU, Feb 24: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president.
In the meeting, the participants appealed the Governor for release of monthly relief and ration to the Kashmiri migrants for the month of March in advance in view of the forthcoming Maha Shivratri festival falling on March 6.
They also requested that the supply and availability of essential commodities like vegetables, meat, fish, walnuts and flowers should be made available at camp and non-camps in and across Jammu through Government retail outlets.
They also requested to release the salaries of the migrant employees in advance and salary of PM package employees pending for last 3 months should be released at once, so that the community members do not feel difficulty in celebrating the festival.
