JAMMU, Oct 3: All State Kashmiri Pandit (ASKPC) Conference in its meeting chaired by its president while discussing the letter purported to have been sent to Chief Ministers of all States by Union Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde to ensure that no innocent Muslim youth was wrongfully detained in the name of fighting terror was condemned as a brazen ploy by Congress to Woo Muslim voters in 2014 general elections.
Terming the move of Union Home Minister as totally unacceptable and objectionable Mr Chatta termed it as against the Constitution and violation of secular character of the country. He wondered whether Mr Shinde was in approval of Hindu youth subjected to harassment and illegal detention.
The meeting while criticizing the policies of Congress led UPA Government wanted to know what brand of secularism is being imposed by the Party.
The meeting also expressed serious concern over delaying tactics on Temples Bill.
