ASI’s body fished out

Srinagar, Mar 30: Police today fished out body of a missing Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Jammu and Kashmir Police from River Sindh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The body of ASI Mohammad Shafi Parray, resident of Wasun, who had gone missing on March 26 last week, was fished out by the joint rescue teams of SDRF and police at Wusan in Kangan.
The SPO Reyaz Ahmad from Gutlibagh police post jumped into the river and recovered the body of the deceased.
The police officer was posted at Budgam district and was absent from last one year. He was suspended by the department.
Sources said that injury marks were found on the police officer’s head and police are investigating the matter.
