Asif gets PRC charge, 2 shifted

JAMMU, Mar 11: Consequent upon relinquishing the charge of the post of Principal Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi, by K B Agarwal, who has proceeded on deputation to Central Government, Additional Resident Commissioner Asif Hamid Khan has been asked to look after the routine work of Principal Resident Commissioner till further orders.
A formal order in this regard was issued today by the General Administration Department.
Pertinent to mention that services of K B Agarwal have been put at the disposal of Government of India for his appointment as Joint Secretary, Department of AIDS Control, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Meanwhile, according to another order, the State Government today ordered transfer and posting of 2 KAS officers.
Kamla Devi, awaiting orders of adjustment in the GAD, has been posted as Special Secretary Cooperative Department vice Mohammad Akbar Ganai, who has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department.
