Ashok Leyland bags order for 1400 ICVs from Procure Box

Chennai, Sep 17: CV major Ashok Leyland has received a large order from a logistics start-up company Procure Box for supply of 1,400 Intermediate Commercial Vehicles (ICVs) for its fuel distribution business across 750 districts in the country.

The order encompasses the most successful Ashok Leyland product – the Ecomet and will be executed in the next five to six months, a release from Ashok Leyland said here today.

Ashok Leyland COO Anuj Kathuria said “this order from Procure Box is a testimony to Ashok Leyland’s commitment to reliability and quality.”

He said ”over the last few years, Ashok Leyland has made significant efforts to increase its market share in the ICV segment and our efforts have given rich dividends.”
