LUCKNOW, Dec 31:
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Friday that smartphones will be given to 80,000 Asha workers in the state.
This is a joint effort of the Central and Uttar Pradesh governments, he tweeted. “Hearty congratulations to all the Asha sisters,” he said.
The smartphone will help the Asha workers to upload their records on the State Government’s portal. “Now they will not have to spend unnecessary running and labour force.
They will be able to read and write with ease.”
