JAMMU, Oct 3: A large number of people drawn from different areas of Jammu and belonging to different walks of life called on BJP State secretary & Jammu Rural district Prabhari Aseem Gupta during his day long sitting at Trikuta Nagar office under party’s schedule of attending to the public to listen their grievances and help in resolving the same at the earliest.
The people who met Aseem Gupta narrated their problems like non-availability of ration in their respective wards, regularization of JDA plots in Vasant Vihar area of Trikuta Nagar, need to depute Booth Level Officers (BLOs) at booth levels for fresh registration of voters and making corrections, issuing of Adhaar Card and other issues related to developmental activities.
Aseem Gupta assured that he will take up the issue with the appropriate and concerned authorities to ensure that the people are not made to suffer any more. On the request of a family of a ailing women, Aseem Gupta immediately contacted OSD, PGI, Chandigarh and sought his kind help for shifting her there for specialized treatment.
Similarly, many cases, which could be solved instantly, were taken up on phone with senior officials and they were urged that there should be no further delay in settling the cases.
Aseem Gupta, while speaking to the people who met him at Trikuta Nagar office, said that the party has directed every State office bearer to remain present at office to meet and listen to the grievances once in a week and it has evoked overwhelming response.
“I will be available at Trikuta Nagar Office every Monday and any one can come to meet me”, Aseem said and added that every leader and activist of the BJP is concerned for the mitigation of the problems being faced by the people.
