Developing Jammu as IT hub

JAMMU, Aug 26: J&K BJP vice president, Aseem Gupta, called on Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, in New Delhi today. The discussions centered around the strategic vision of developing Jammu into a prominent IT hub on the pattern of Banglore, Pune, Gurgoan, Hyderabad, Mumbai.
In response, Rajeev Chandrasekhar extended his assurance towards a progressive resolution of the matter. He assured that the Government is resolutely dedicated in realizing the vision of catapulting Jammu into a thriving IT hub. Citing the region’s conducive ecosystem and promising infrastructure, he affirmed, “The unique attributes of Jammu to make it an exceedingly promising contender for this transformative endeavor.”
Aseem also discussed with Rajeev Chandrasekhar the significant changes that have taken place in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) following the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A. He highlighted the positive and proactive approach the region has taken under the leadership and vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah.
Aseem also discussed the ongoing infrastructure development projects taking place in the UT, particularly the prestigious educational institutions in Jammu, such as IIT, IIM, AIIMS and various other esteemed institutions. These institutions represent a remarkable investment in the region’s education and healthcare sectors of the UT and taking it towards Naya Jammu Kashmir.
