JAMMU, Dec 17: ASCOMS today organized a free eye check up camp at Government Primary School (GPS), Morcharpur in tehsil Bishnah.
The camp was organized with cooperation of local Sarpanch, Krishan Chand. Doctors who lent their services include Dr Renu Hasia, Dr Yuthika Bhandari and Dr Zainab Haroon.
During the course of the camp, free consultation and free medicines were provided to over 150 patients belonging to Morcharpur and neighbouring villages. The camp was coordinated by Vishal Pathania, Assistant Manager, ASCOMS.
The villagers requested ASCOMS authorities to continue this trend of holding camps in far flung areas, which otherwise remain deprived of medical facilities.
