SRINAGAR, July 22: Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges today honoured its JK achievers of different fields in an impressive function here today.
The top performers in different fields including Innovations and new Business Ideas, Academics, Sports, Cultural, Social work etc were felicitated by Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges.
In Business ideas and Innovation category, the girls who developed Aryans Android App and the boys who developed Life Saving Glove bagged the prize. For Aryans Android App- Rumaisa, Sadiya, Yusra and Zeenat were honoured while for Glove, Ishfaq, Showkat, Danish and Aadil were honoured. Basit and team were honoured for developing the project “Remote Control Drone”.
In Sports category, Ishfaq, Aadil, Imtiyaz, Basit, Tajamul, Manzoor, Younis, Bilal and Minya Tufail were honoured. These students developed more than 11 cricket teams comprising Kashmiri students and organized a cricket tournament, “Aryans Cricket Premier League” at Aryans Campus.
JK lad Showkat Ahmad was also honoured for his academic achievement. Showkat of B.Tech (EEE), 6th semester of Aryans College of Engineering grabbed 4th position in the merit list of PTU. Faaiz, Shazia, Yusra, Minhaz were honoured for their continuous excellent performances in cultural activities.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group lauded the efforts of the students.
It is to be mentioned that in last 7 years, Aryans has emerged as the first choice of JK students.
