JAMMU, May 5: Continuing his focus on grassroots development, MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta today inaugurated key civic projects in Ward No. 33, Jammu West, aimed at improving infrastructure and public convenience.
Gupta inaugurated the newly constructed slab of a community hall near Lakshmi Narayana Mandir, completed at a cost of Rs 30 lakh.
Highlighting its importance, he said, “The facility will provide a dedicated space for social and community functions, ensuring convenience and dignity for local residents.”
Demonstrating his commitment to addressing everyday civic issues, Gupta also inaugurated the newly developed lane and drain in the area.
He emphasized that such projects are essential for improving sanitation, connectivity and overall living standards.
Addressing to the gathering, the MLA said, “Development of every ward in Jammu West is my priority. We are working continuously to ensure that basic amenities reach every household and that people experience real change on the ground.”
Reiterating his vision, Gupta added that sustained infrastructure development and public welfare initiatives will remain at the core of his efforts.
“My aim is to transform Jammu West through planned and need-based development,” he added.
Among others who attended the inauguration ceremony included BJP Mandal president, senior party leaders, officials from the PWD including AEE and JE, the contractor and local residents.
