REASI, June 12: Artist Association Reasi (AAR) today urged the Government to provide financial assistance to all the artists as immediate relief for their survival.
Addressing the media persons, the Association highlighted the difficulties being faced by the artists due to COVID-19 pandemic.
“Due to lockdown, the cultural activities have come to complete standstill with many financial poor artists and other connected with this line have been hit badly,” said Raju Vijaypuria, adding that the Govt should provide financial help to poor artists, so that, they could arrange both the ends meet during this tough time.
Others who were present during the press conference included Ravi, Chaman and Gurjeet.
