ARTA elects office bearers

JAMMU, Nov 20: Apsara Road Traders Association (ARTA) today elected its new office bearers just three days before the due date of election.
The newly elected members included Amit Jandyal as president, Ravi Gupta as senior vice president, Suneesh Gupta as junior vice president while Anil Kohli has been elected consecutively fourth time for the post of general secretary and Amit Dogra is now new secretary.
Raghav Mahajan has been elected as finance secretary and Shyam S Anand as coordinator.
However, the due date for election was Nov 23, 2014, but as only seven forms were submitted for the seven posts of office bearers of ARTA, so all the seven members were unanimously elected as office bearers.
The entire election process was organized under the two member election commission of ARTA, Rakesh Mahajan of Rakesh Jewelers and Sanjeev Matai of Fairdeal Sales Corp.
