KATRA, Oct 1: The Art of Living hosted a transformative four-day happiness program at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) Spiritual Growth Centre in Katra.
The program, which commenced on September 28, 2023, witnessed participation from a diverse group of 108 individuals, ranging from business professionals and educators to medical practitioners, public servants, healthcare experts, bankers, homemakers, and students/scholars.
This unique program skilfully blended ancient wisdom with practical techniques, most notably featuring the life-enhancing Sudarshan Kriya (SKY) breathing technique. This technique, a profound gift to humanity, was revealed by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar during a 10-day period of silence in 1981.
As the program concluded, participants expressed a profound sense of renewal, inner tranquillity, and heightened happiness and contentment.
The sessions were expertly guided by the Art of Living faculty members, including Prof (Dr) Rajan Salalia, who serves as the State Teachers Coordinator for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Er Ankit Sharma, Sri Sri Yoga Coordinator for Himachal Pradesh and Rajesh Kumar from Art of Living Punjab.
On the program’s concluding day, Bhagwati Prasad, State Teachers Coordinator for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, along with enthusiastic participants, conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated Art of Living team, led by Vivek Vansal, a senior Art of Living faculty member.
This committed team, supported by teachers Dr Meenakshi, Dipiki Jyoti, Daksh Minocha, and Shruti, travelled from various regions, including Punjab, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh, to ensure the program’s resounding success.
Additionally, the local AOL Team played a pivotal role in creating awareness and highlighting the importance of stress-free living for the dedicated residents of Katra, who tirelessly serve pilgrims visiting Mata Vaishno Devi.
Members of this local team, including Sudarshan Kohli, Rajeev Padha, Priya Rajput, Dr Sushil Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Engineer Shakti Sagar, and Er Ravinder Mansotra, actively contributed to spreading the program’s message, generating promising leads for future registrations.
