RAMNAGAR, Sept 22: Sub Divisional Magistrate Ramnagar, Anshul Garg today chaired a joint meeting of officers and representatives of religious organisations to discuss the arrangements for smooth conduct of ensuing 30th Annual Shri Pingla Mata pilgrimage.
The members of Akhand Jyoti Pingla Mata Management Committee raised various issues with regard to the arrangements and sought the cooperation of the concerned departments.
The meeting discussed in detail various arrangements pertaining to the pilgrimage like facility of drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, security, first-aid, transport and sanitation at the shrine site and enroute.
The SDM directed the concerned officers to put in their best efforts in providing all facilities to the pilgrims during the pilgrimage. The Health Department was asked to deploy adequate staff and medicines along the yatra route for the convenience of the devotees. The meeting was also informed about the security arrangements made for the safety of pilgrims.
General Secretary Akhand Jyoti Pingla Mata Management Committee, Ramnagar informed that the committee is organizing Navratra Mahotsav at Ramnagar from October 03 to October 10.
Tehsidar, Romesh Kumar, SDPO Deepak Dingra, Block Medical Officer, Dr. Rajesh Gupta and other officers were present in the meeting.
