Srinagar, Feb 7: Army in collaboration with Solar Industry India is all set to install the “Iconic National Flag” at world-famous ski-resort Gulmarg.
As per officials, the 100ft iconic flag would be the highest Indian National Flag in Kashmir Valley at an altitude of approximately 9000ft.
In this regard, a replica of the flag was presented by Ramit Arora of Solar Industry India to GOC 19 Infantry Division to mark the occasion.
Notably, the Solar Industry India is making ammunition for the Armed Forces, under “Atmanirbhar Bharat”, which includes the production of one million pieces of Multimode Hand Grenades, likely to commence this month.
The officials, however, clarified that no MoU for the production of Multimode Grenades was signed today between Dagger Division and Solar Industry India, as is being reported by some sections of media.
