Army provides uniform, study material to BPL children

POONCH, Sept 30: Army provided study material, uniforms, books and stationary to 19 “Below Poverty Line” children from the remote and hilly Kaka area of the district under its Sadhbhavana initiative.
Army Goodwill School, Potha has been supporting the educational needs of economically backward children for a long time. In its endeavor to ensure “Children are the Future Pillars of the Nation”, a number of Sadhbhavana initiatives are being executed every year by the Army for supporting the education of economically backward students.
In the current academic year, 19 economically backward children from Murrah village of Hill Kaka were admitted in the school and their fees, uniform, books and stationary have been sponsored.
