SRINAGAR, Oct 4: As part of its outreach initiative towards improved educational infrastructure, the Army today distributed training aids and study material to the students of two schools in Rawalpora in city outskirts and Gogo village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A defence spokesman said catering to the aspirations of these schools, the Army provided necessary educational aid kit including books, instructional boards, classroom furniture and even school uniforms to the students thus bringing smiles to the children and school faculty alike.
“The beneficiary school staff and students reinforced that such initiative by the Army will not only afford better educational opportunities for the children of Kashmir thus empowering them to face future challenges but also strengthen the bond between the people and Army,” the defence spokesman said.
