Army, police work as brothers: GOC

SRINAGAR, July 23: A day after Army soldiers thrashed six policemen, including an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI), in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps Lt Gen JS Sandhu said that efforts to create divide between Army and police by ‘anti-nationals’ won’t work.
He further said that police and Army have always worked as brothers in arms.
“Efforts to create divide between Army and police by anti-nationals won’t work. We are together always working as brothers in arms,” Lt Gen Sandhu wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
