SRINAGAR, May 12: Army today said that it organized a free medical camp at Hanzveera Pain in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A defence spokesman said reaching out to the people of nearby villages, a team of Army doctors and nursing assistants attended over 500 patients and provided them medicines.
In a similar humanitarian step, Army at Shalabug in Ganderbal district provided free consultation and treatment to over 300 people across all age groups. Another medical camp was organised by Army for the residents of Chewa village in Bandipora district, benefitting over 150 locals including elders, women and children, the defence spokesman added.
