SOPORE, Nov 16: A Medical Camp was organised by the Army under Sadhbhavana at village Kushal Colony,Tulibal, area of Sopore, today.
A joint team of doctors from Army and civil administration, including lady doctors, Nursing Assistant and Paramedics participated in providing Medical assistance to 469 people, including men, women and children.
The Army’s 52RR has been regularly organising medical camps in the strife torn areas of Baramulla district. The general populace in these areas is greatly benefited by these camps due to lack of medical facilities in these areas.
These camps also help in establishment of a rapport between the Awaam and Jawan. The continuous and relentless efforts of Indian Army towards conduct of such camps have been greatly appreciated and lauded by the public.
Handouts on Himayat project launched by Government of India were also distributed and a lecture on ‘Health and Hygiene’ was conducted. Various other stalls, including a stall on HDFC Life Insurance and HP Gas Agency was also on display for the betterment of the locals.
