JAMMU, May 22: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion based at Doda under Delta Force today organized a medical camp at village Bharat to provide basic medical facilities to needy and poor people of the village.
A total of 232 villagers benefited from the professional advice and medical assistance from a medical team led by Medical Officer of Doda based Rashtriya Rifles Battalion.
The event drew overwhelming response from the complete area and they appreciated the efforts undertaken by Indian Army in providing basic health facilities at the doorsteps of the needy.
The team of doctors from Army gave sound professional advice to all the patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Village Sarpanch, Adil Karim said that such camps will go a long way in giving boost to improvement of health in remote areas of Doda district.
