BHADERWAH, Feb 15: A local Army unit organized free medical camp at Sub-Divisional Hospital, here today.
The camp, part of humanitarian assistance project of Army was inaugurated by Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Dr R K Bharti. Speaking on the occasion, SDM highlighted the significant contribution made by the security forces towards civilians. A Medical team comprising of seven doctors from Army and State Health Department provided the much needed medical cover to the women, children and elderly people during the camp.
During the camp, nearly 392 patients from Bhaderwah and surrounding areas of the town participated. They included 175 women, 125 men and 92 children. Free blood sugar tests were also carried out in view of increasing cases of blood sugar.
