JAMMU, Aug 31: As part of mission reach out, Army organised a medical camp at village Sangrampur to provide basic medical facilities to the remotely located residents of Akhnoor Sub division.
Over 200 patients benefited from this camp. Along with the provision of routine outpatient care and medicines, awareness was also spread regarding positive health practices, family planning and adopting good medical practices, for a healthy life.
Patients requiring prolonged and greater level of care were advised to visit higher medical centers for treatment. The noble gesture of Army was well received and appreciated by the locals.
