Army organizes free Medical Camp

BHADERWAH, Jan 15: The Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) organized a free Medical Camp for local masses of Tehsil Bhaderwah on the occasion of Army Day 2015, as part of humanitarian assistance programme at Ghati Morh, here today.
The camp was inaugurated by Second-in-Command of Rashtriya Rifles who assured the people of unconditional and everlasting support of Army for the cause of the people.
A medical team comprising of one Army doctor and one civil doctor from PHC, Chinta provided the much needed specialized medical cover to the ladies, children and elderly people during the Camp.
A large number of patients turned up for the free medical check-up from the nearby villages including Ghati, Draddu, Dhamoli, Chinta, Darbbi and Bachh.
The Camp was organized to make necessary arrangements of various types of medicines, medical equipment and facilities for examination of patients.  Wide during the Camp a total of 215 patients were treated which included       102 females, 87 males and 26 children.
The people of the area and district administration were grateful to the Army for their concentrated efforts and assistance in providing free medical aid at their door step.
Army also distributed Health, Nutrition and Child Care pamphlets to the parents in order to spread medical awareness amongst the general populace.
