KISHTWAR, July 13: In sustained efforts towards upliftment of youth of Kishtwar, Delta Force and civil society Kishtwar alongwith the civil administration organized Education Expo-2015 to provide a platform to the youth of this remote area for on the spot career counseling and admissions for sixteen graduation courses ranging from BA, BBA, BDS, B Tech etc.
The workshop was spanned over two days from July 12 to 13th and was conducted at TRC Kishtwar. Fifteen institutes offering various courses for higher education established their stalls with the college representatives to provide on the spot counsellings, education programme and the courses offered. Key feature of the event was direct interaction of the students with the college representatives and Chairman which helped the students in getting a clear insight about the courses to include education programme, fee structure, hostel facility etc. To cater for everything under one roof stalls were established by J&K Bank for provisioning of education loan and students were briefed about the existing scholarship schemes.
