Army organizes computer training course

SRINAGAR, May 11: In an attempt to improve the education standards and contribute towards upliftment of students of Baraub, Army organized a Basic Computer Capsule from May 01 to May 10.
An Army spokesman said that Baraub is an isolated region in the Gurez Valley which remains cut off from the rest of J&K due to extreme weather condition for almost six months.
He said the Capsule was conducted at Army Goodwill School Baraub for the students of village Gujran, Angaikot, Malangam and Baraub which aimed at spreading the awareness about the basic aspects of computer.
“The ten day Capsule covered basic aspects, software and hardware to enhance their confidence and competence for their future career prospects. The students displayed a lot of interest and enthusiasm during the classes and the locals were very appreciative of the efforts put in by the Army and requested for organizing more such events in the future,” he said.
