JAMMU, Dec 6: Army’s Samba Military Station under the aegis of Gurj Division today organized a mega Veterans Sampark Sammelan cum medical camp for the next of kins of soldiers, Veer Naries and veterans of Samba district.
The event was inaugurated by General Officer Commanding, Gurj Division.
Various agencies from Army, J&K Government and Private Sector including Banks established their stalls to redress the grievances of veterans, next of kins and Veer Naries. A medical camp was also organized to provide medical and dental care wherein medicines were distributed to 440 people including next of kins and veterans of border areas.
Next of kins, Veer Naries, disabled veterans and retired Gallantry Award Winners were also felicitated during the Sammelan.
