Army organises medical camp

Srinagar, May 5: Army today said it organized medical-cum-awareness camp at Tengpura village of Widipora in Kashmir valley.
A defence spokesman said to provide medical succour to public, a joint team of Army and civil doctors treated 350 patients and were provided with free medicines, consultation and health education on personal hygiene, small family norms, nutrition, maternal and child care.
“People of all groups and gender from adjoining areas of Tengpura availed the free medical treatment. The collaborative humanitarian gesture was welcomed by one and all and the beneficiaries lauded the effort of army and civil doctors which brought them much needed succour,” he said.
