JAMMU, Feb 4: An Army jawan was arrested for assaulting Public Relation Officer (PRO) Kewal Krishan of Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand at Khour.
As per police sources, Army jawan identified as Satpal forcibly tried to enter a meeting at Khour, which was chaired by PRO of DyCM.
As he was stopped by the police cops, verbal dual took place between Army jawan and constables vis-à-vis PRO. Army jawan then assaulted the PRO in full public view.
The matter was reported to police station Khour and the Army j3awan was arrested.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Khour police station and investigation started.
