UDHAMPUR, May 18: Police have arrested two accused including an Army Jawan for molesting and trying to kidnap a 6th class student from village Dandal in tehsil Ramnagar.
The arrested accused have been identified as Shamsher Singh and Sunil Singh of Dhandal, tehsil Ramnagar.
Shamsher Singh is an Army Jawan of Signal 3 CCSR and posted in Uttrakhand. He was on leave.
In this connection FIR number 53/2013 U/S 341/354/ 109/363/506/RPC was registered in Police Station Ramnagar.
Both the arrested accused have been subjected to sustained interrogation so as to ascertain the conspiracy hatched by them for commission of crime and to know whether any other accused was involved in this heinous act.
