Army in civil service

Sir,
Refer news item, “Army organizes a medical camp” published in this paper on Nov 2015. It is the army which safeguards the sovereignty of the country, sovereignty being one of the four fundamental factors for a country to be called a state so far as the definition of the State in political science is concerned. Without sovereignty a country’s existence can’t be imagined. The army personnel are deployed on borders and on the strategic points so that the enemy is kept at bay. The army goes on discharging the  duty in every weather condition round the clock. The country’s armed force happens to be the most dutiful, disciplined, devoted and dedicated force. The army has now become more public friendly; other than defending the country,  and keeping a constant vigil on the borders, the army now discharges social services. It organizes medical camps for the people who have no access to good hospitals. Besides, the army now organizes tours of students, both-boys and girls and enables them to visit the far of places in the country. The army provides furniture to schools, uniforms to the poor students and constructs bridges in local areas. Keeping in view the yeomen’s service rendered by the army, it becomes our duty to be on their back and help them indirectly. By that way, we will be rendering a great service to the armed forces.
Yours etc…
