SRINAGAR, Apr 28: Army today said a rally on ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ was organised Wuzur in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A defence spokesman said total number of 290 students and 19 teachers of Army Goodwill School Wuzur participated in rally. “In today’s scenario when a great emphasis is given on woman empowerment, this vaulting step of Army ensured that no page should be left unturned in valley to support woman empowerment and enlighten girl child of her basic rights,” he said.
