UDHAMPUR, Feb 18: In an endeavour to live up to the commitment of providing basic infrastructure in remote and inaccessible area, the Army under the aegis of Headquarters 71 Sub Area, has initiated to construct a community hall to meet the long pending aspiration and demand of local populace under ‘Op Sadhbhavana’ project in village Battal Ballian.
The community centre is envisaged as place where people in village can congregate for social, cultural and sports activities.
The community hall would facilitate approx 15000 people of nearby villages and uplift the community facilities for the residents of the village and Panchayat in particular. The upcoming infrastructure project by Army would facilitate the villagers to organize community functions and events.
