Udhampur, Oct 11: The Command Hospital (NC) under the aegis of HQ Northern Command conducted a multi specialty Medical Camp at village Pancheri  in the remote area towards Krimchi Road axis  for the local population.
More than ten thousand patients availed the benefits at the Army Medical Camp.  The services of super specialists in the field of Ophthalmology, ENT, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastics surgery, Dental and Pathology were provided along the ECG, and Lab facilities. Free consultation and free medicines were also provided to all the patients.  The multi-specialty camp was organised under the guidance of Maj Gen N Srinath, Commandant, Command Hospital (NC), Udhampur.
The villagers could avail super specialty treatment alongwith latest diagnostics facilities.  The camp was organised on the request of villagers as the area is remote and is deprived of medical facilities, besides no medical camp was held in that area in the last ten years.
The camp organised under Op Sadbhavna, was inaugurated by Maj Gen SPS Kochar, MG (Medical), HQ Northern Command.  He praised the effort of Command Hospital (NC) and assured that such camps will be held more frequently for the people of J&K.
