JAMMU, Oct 6: Army conducted a lecture on “Importance of Education in Modern Society” at Youth Employment Guidance Node (YEGN), Surankote today.
The lecture was aimed at creating awareness about importance of education and special emphasis were laid on how education can change their way of life and thinking and how important it is to educate a girl child.
Large number of students, youth and prominent members of the society from Surankote as well as neighboring villages attended the lecture with enthusiasm.
