Chak Malal, Nov 26: In continuation with its efforts to contribute towards the development of the people residing in Border Areas, Army organized an ‘Inter School Quiz and Essay Competition at Govt Girls High School, Chak Malal as a Sadbhavana project.
A total of six Govt Boys / Girls Schools of Chak Malal, Chak Bhagwan, Rakh Malal, Dhanwal Camp, Rajwal and Budwal participated in the event.
The winners of the Quiz Competition were Govt Middle School Budhwal and of the Essay Competition were students of Govt Boys and Girls School, Rakh Malal. The chief guest gave prizes to the winners and consolation prizes to all the participants.
Speaking to the participants, after the event, he emphasized the importance of such events which enhance creativity, confidence and communication skills of the children in ensuring their personality development.
The teachers conveyed their sincere gratitude to Army authorities for giving the children these kinds of exposures and opportunities.
At the dispersal, chief guest expressed his thanks to the Principal and all students for making the event a grand success.
