JAMMU, Feb 23: Army chief Gen Manoj Pande today visited holy cave shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji and offered prayers.
Gen Pande, who was on a three-day visit to Jammu, visited the cave shrine this morning and offered prayers.
After prayers, he returned here and flew back to New Delhi.
During his visit to Northern Command headquarters yesterday, the Army chief reviewed security scenario in the hinterland and Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir and operational preparedness of the troops.
