DELHI: Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag today met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, especially along the Line of Control with Pakistan.
The Army Chief also briefed the Home Minister about the overall security situation in the North Eastern region, a day after he visited the Gajraj Corps at Tezpur in Assam.
The meeting assumed significance as the Centre has hinted at taking tough measures to bring normality in the unrest-hit Kashmir Valley. (AGENCIES)
