JAMMU, May 22: Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL) in association with counter insurgency force (Delta) has launched a program for talented youth of Chenab valley.
The project named as Chenab Super 30 aims at educating the underprivileged students who have the caliber to crack IIT / JEE. It provides 11 month free residential coaching for clearing the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). The proposal has drawn overwhelming response from the students of three districts of Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban.
In order to clarify the queries of IIT aspirants a seminar was organized at Boys Higher Secondary School Kishtwar by Rashtriya Rifle Battalion. A presentation was delivered to 1200 students in the presence of Principal and teaching staff of Boys Higher Secondary School, Kishtwar.
All the queries of the students were cleared on spot. There was an overwhelming response of students , which was evident from almost 100 on spot registrations of the students.
Kamal Kishore Sharma, Principal, Boys Higher Secondary School, Kishtwar speaking on the occasion said, “It is indeed great opportunity for the young IIT aspirants of Kishtwar who want to achieve success in IIT/JEE”.
The Chenab Super 30 will prove as a boon for underprivileged students of remote hilly areas who have the caliber to crack any exam, yet not the resources for doing the same .”
The screening of entrance exam for Chenab Super 30 will be conducted in 1st week of June. Students must register with nearest Rashtriya Rifle Battalions in their respective area and utilize the opportunity to achieve the desired goals of becoming an engineer.
