RAJOURI, Aug 5: Army and police personnel busted a hideout and recovered arms and ammunition from Sadah village in Kalakote Tehsil.
As per official spokesman, a joint team of Rashriya Rifles and JKP from Kalakote police station today recovered a cache of arms, ammunition and other warlike stores which includes one AK-47 rifle, one AK 56 rifle, one Chinese pistol, two RPG rounds, five hand grenades, two magazines and 639 rounds of ammunition from Sadah village in Tehsil Kalakote.
It is significant to mention here that this is the second recovery in past two days. These recoveries will act as a major blow and will prevent use of these weapons for terror activities in future.
In the operation, the police team was led by SHO Kalakote Inspector Darshan Singh under the supervision of Additional SP Nowshera Atul Sharma and SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas.
